Hello! My name is Joseph Rivera and I am a Graphic Designer from the Bay Area in California. My journey started around when I was around 8 years old, I watched a lot of cartoons and I wanted to learn how to draw. From drawing cartoon characters I have seen, I found it fun being able to create something started as an idea onto paper.

Years started to pass by growing from: paper to a canvas, drawing to painting, cartoon characters to still life rendering, arts and crafts to 3D modeling, and traditional to digital art. I learned that I love to learn, and I love to learn art mediums that I have yet to try.

I became a Graphic Designer because I saw that there was an opportunity to a new mountain of skills I have yet to gain. I saw that graphic design not only made art with just artistic visuals, but words as well. I also realized that as a Graphic Designer, I will be able to work with other people and help communicate their ideas. Graphic Design gives me an opportunity to learn not only become an artist, but also be a part of a community.
